American Airlines To Pay $9.6 Million In Damages For Failure To Follow Protocols For Stroke Passengers

A federal jury in San Jose has found American Airlines liable for $9.6 million in damages after a California man, Jesus Plasencia, suffered two strokes during an international flight and the airline failed to follow its own medical emergency protocols.
