Colombia Recalls U.S Ambasador Over Caribbean Military Strikes

Colombia recalled its ambassador to the United States on Monday, October 20, 2025, after a U.S. military strikes in the Caribbean that killed Colombian nationals on board boats suspected of carrying drugs, as well as by Trump's subsequent disparaging remarks about Colombian President Gustavo Petro.
